OUR SHIPPING METHODS

We have selected the most reliable carriers to provide a variety of options to suit your needs. For orders that do not qualify for our promotional offers, shipping prices are offered at current market rates and are calculated at checkout.

  • FedEx Ground (Our Preferred Method) Our default shipping method is FedEx Ground, offering a dependable and cost-effective solution for nationwide delivery. Typical transit times are 1-3 business days for the West Coast and 5-7 business days for the East Coast. We also offer additional FedEx shipping services, including express options, that you may select during checkout.

  • UPS Services We also provide the flexibility of shipping via UPS for all nationwide deliveries. You may select your preferred UPS service during checkout.

  • GLS (For California Residents) For our collectors within California, we are pleased to offer overnight delivery via GLS, ensuring your wine arrives quickly and in perfect condition.

PROTECTING YOUR WINE DURING TRANSIT

The integrity of our wine is paramount. To protect your order from potentially damaging temperature fluctuations, we have the following programs in place.

  • Weather Holds To ensure your wine arrives in optimal condition, we may place a temporary hold on shipments when the forecast between our winery and your destination is experiencing extreme heat (above 85°F) or cold (below 40°F). Should your order be affected by a weather hold, you will receive an email notifying you that we are temporarily delaying the shipment in an effort to keep your wine safe during transit.

  • Temperature-Controlled Ground Shipping (Recommended May-October) For the ultimate peace of mind during warmer months, we strongly recommend upgrading to Temperature-Controlled Shipping via FedEx & UPS. This service utilizes a network of refrigerated trucks to protect your wine from heat spikes during its journey. This premium option is available at checkout. Learn more below.

TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED GROUND SHIPPING

Simple, reliable, and designed to protect your wine from the moment it leaves our warehouse until it arrives at your door.

  • Step 1 ∙ Weekly Departures: Orders placed by Tuesday at 1:00 PM PDT will be included in that week's temperature-controlled shipment. Your wine will then depart from our Napa warehouse that Friday, beginning its journey in a temperature-controlled truck perfectly maintained at 55°F.
  • Step 2 ∙ Nationwide Hubs: Shipments travel to strategic hubs in Missouri, New York, Texas, and Georgia for reliable protection across the country.
  • Step 3 ∙ Final Mile Delivery: Once at the hub, local carriers pick up your package for final delivery, typically within 1-2 days.
  • Step 4 ∙ Optional Ice Packs: For extra peace of mind during that final stretch, you can add ice packs to your order.
    • Receiving Your Chilled Shipment: Your order may include ice packs to keep it cool on its way to you. To protect the bottles from condensation, please remove and reuse/discard the ice packs shortly after delivery.

STATE SHIPPING LAWS & REGULATIONS

Wine shipping laws are determined by each state and can change frequently. Below are the current requirements for states with specific shipping restrictions.

Shipments to Alaska (AK) & Hawaii (HI)
Two-Day Air service is required for all shipments to these states. Ground shipping is not available.

Restricted States Due to state compliance laws, we are unable to ship directly using our standard services to the following states:

  • Arkansas (AK)
  • Delaware (DE)
  • Maine (ME)
  • Mississippi (MS)
  • Utah (UT)
  • Vermont (VT)
  • West Virginia (WV)

In some cases, we may be able to arrange for delivery to these states through a licensed third-party shipper. Please contact our Hospitality Team to inquire about available options.
